Stiped Color Kinks
The Striped 6 Kink Zong is ZongGlass’s most kink-dense configuration — six full Z-bends worked into a tube that stands 33 to 36 inches tall — dressed in colour stripe accents that run the length of the piece. It is the biggest, boldest expression of what a Zong can be: maximum kink count, maximum height, and a colour technique that makes every inch of that tube worth looking at.
The Stripe Technique
The stripes on this Zong are not paint, not decals, not a coating applied after the piece is finished. Colour rods — sourced from American glassmakers Glass Alchemy in Oregon and Northstar Glass in Colorado — are laid along the hot tube during the blowing process and fused directly into the borosilicate. The result is colour that is structurally part of the glass: it cannot chip, peel, or fade, and it catches light differently through each kink as the tube bends away from you. The striped technique produces clean, parallel lines that run continuously down the tube, making the Z-geometry of the kinks even more visually pronounced.
What Six Kinks Do
Every kink in a Zong extends the smoke path, adds a natural splash guard, and creates a grip point on the tube. At six kinks across 33–36 inches, the Striped 6 Kink Zong delivers the longest smoke travel distance in the ZongGlass bong range — more cooling, more filtration, and more of the distinctly smooth draw that Zong has been known for since 1992. The kinks also make the mouthpiece position dramatically higher than the waterline, giving this piece an upright, commanding presence on any surface.
Built to Your Spec
Every Striped 6 Kink Zong is made to order. Choose your base style — Beaker, Bubble, or Straight — at no extra charge. Silver (.995) and Gold (22ct) fuming are available if you want the chameleon colour-shift effect layered over the stripe work: the metallic iridescence develops and deepens the more the piece is used, creating an increasingly unique surface over time. The piece ships as glass-on-glass with a 14mm bowl and downstem included.
