9mm Zong — 9mm Thick Borosilicate.

The 9mm Zong is ZongGlass’s 9mm wall thickness Zong — nearly double the standard 5mm. Built from premium German Schott borosilicate tubing in the 50mm Fat Series diameter, this is the most durable format in the ZongGlass lineup. The 9mm wall makes itself known the moment you pick it up: heavier, more solid, and noticeably more authoritative in the hand than any standard-wall bong.

9mm vs 5mm: What the Extra Glass Gives You

Standard ZongGlass bongs start at 5mm — already thicker than most production glass. The 9mm series nearly doubles that. The result is a tube that can absorb a hard knock without drama, handles daily use without accumulating stress fractures, and ages with the piece rather than against it. If you want a bong that will still be in rotation in five years, the 9mm is the build.

Classic Zong Kink Design

The kink is what makes a Zong a Zong. The S-bend in the neck slows and cools smoke as it travels from the water chamber to the mouthpiece, giving a smoother draw than a straight tube of the same height. ZongGlass has been refining this geometry since 1992 — every kink is placed and angled by hand for consistent performance.

Made by the Original Zong Team Since 1992.

Every piece is built to order at the ZongGlass workshop in Phoenix, Arizona. Standard lead time 2–3 weeks; up to 30 days at peak. Glass-on-glass with 14mm bowl and downstem included.
